Edge-to-Edge quilting with a single pattern – $0.02 per square inch (2 cents/sq. in.) If you want to select the design/pattern for us to use, then go to the STITCH DESIGNS page, select and add one of the designs from the Continuous Lines section to the Shopping Cart. If you want us to select which design/pattern to use, then simply select the first item listed - the one titled “ODQ Selects Pattern”. We will then select and use the design we think best suits your quilt. The design chosen does not change the price; it is included with the quilting.

If you know the color(s) of thread that you want us to use, then you can give us that information on the checkout page. There is a box there in the Checkout tutorial that you can enter any special notes or instructions. The thread chosen does not change the price; it is included with the quilting.

Custom Quilting

Our Custom Quilting option allows you to choose different patterns for different parts of your quilt. Perhaps you want one pattern on your blocks and another on the cornerstones. Maybe you want another pattern on the sashes or borders.

There are many options when it comes to Custom Quilting, which can be a bit overwhelming. We would love to discuss it with you to ensure you are happy with the end result. Or, if you'd prefer, we can choose the stitch pattern(s) for you that we feel would best compliment your quilt. The design chosen does not change the price; it is included with the quilting.

Half-Binding

Complete Binding

Trim Only

After quilting the quilt, we will trim the edges to prepare for the application of binding, which the customer will sew on.

Quilt Label

Assemble Backing Fabric

If you have sufficient yardage for the back but it is not pieced together, then we will piece it to make it the correct size for loading on the longarm machine.

Backing Fabric Leaders

The backing fabric must be 10" wider and 10" longer than the quilt top. If it is not that large but at least 2" wider and 2" longer than the top, then we can add leaders, allowing us to mount it on the longarm machine and complete the quilting.

Batting

If you need us to provide the batting, we would be happy to do so! We normally use The Warm Company Warm & Natural cotton batting, the Warm Company Warm & White cotton batting or Dream Quilters White Dream Cotton Select – Midloft. We can provide different batting if you prefer something else. We would simply adjust the pricing up or down according to the cost of the alternate batting and let you know the difference.
