Edge-to-Edge Quilting

We list 49 patterns for you to choose from for the edge-to-edge stitching. These are our favorites that seem to work well. There are many others to choose from, so if you have a particular design in mind (butterflies, flowers, standard stipple, etc.) but don't see it in our listing, let us know. We may already have it or be able to get it.
If you can't decide which pattern to use, we can suggest several patterns we think would look great on your quilt and then let you decide which one(s) we use. Alternatively, you can let us use our knowledge and experience to choose and stitch what we think is best for your quilt. Either way, we're sure that you will ultimately be satisfied.

Custom Quilting

There are times when edge-to-edge quilting won't do your project justice. For those times, custom quilting is a better option. Custom quilting allows individual designs to be dropped into blocks. We list 119 patterns that can be dropped onto individual blocks.
Custom quilting also allows individual designs to be used on borders and sashes. We list 77 patterns that can be used on borders and 15 patterns for sashes. Some patterns can be used on both borders and sashes, depending on the widths of borders and sashes.

Custom Quilt Design and Fabrication

Custom quilt design will be discussed individually, and a price will be agreed upon before work commences.

A quilt can be made from just about any fabric, but custom quilts most often are made using old articles of clothing - jeans, dress shirts, T-shirts, scarves, etc. One very popular type of custom quilt is the T-shirt quilt, made using shirts and/or jerseys from a child playing organized sports through the years.

Assemble Backing Fabric

If you provide sufficient fabric, we can sew it together to make it wide enough for the quilt.
If you have questions about this, please chat, message or call and we can discuss it.

Backing Fabric Leaders

If your backing fabric is not quite large enough (it must normally be 10`` longer and 10`` wider than your quilt top) but is at least 2`` wider and 2`` longer than the quilt top, then we can sew leaders to the backing fabric to enable us to load it onto the longarm machine.

Half Binding

If you supply the fabric, we will make your binding, trim your quilt after we quilt it, and machine sew the binding to the front of your quilt. When we send it back to you, it will be ready for you to sew to the back of the quilt.

• you must supply 1 yard of pre-washed (if you want it washed) UNCUT fabric
• binding is double-fold and finished about 1/4`` to 3/8`` wide
• binding is cut on straight of grain unless you have a curved-edged quilt

Complete Binding

If you supply the fabric, we will make your binding, trim your quilt after we quilt it, and machine sew the binding to the front and back of your quilt with matching thread.

• you must supply 1 yard of pre-washed (if you want it washed) UNCUT fabric
• binding is double-fold and finished 1/4`` to 3/8`` wide
• binding is cut on straight of grain unless you have a curved-edged quilt

Trim Only

If you prefer to sew your own binding but want us to trim the quilt, we can take care of that for you.

Label

We can make a custom embroidered label for your quilt. Just tell us what you want it to say (made by, made for, date, etc.). We will embroider it onto a fabric label and hand stitch it to one corner of the back of the quilt.
